Unfortunately, I had the impression this limitation wasn't really an issue with 338 Lapua loaded out to ~3.7" to ~3.8".The 300 Norma handily beats the 300 PRC on ballistic performance. This is becuase it can shoot the same or similar bullet faster. However, this comes at a cost.
