This is what is really sucking about this design choice for me. I really wanna roll a charlatan that goes into College of Lore, and I have no choice but to just eat the Sleight of Hand overlap. Not to mention, I'd really like to have Intimidate before level 3 because it fits my concept. But whatever. Okay, so we can't choose any 3 skills.I can only ever see pickpocketing outside of combat, where you can easily have one of your casters cast enhance ability to give your rogue advantage on all dex checks (including sleight of hand, but also stealth).
