The soles of my Chacos fell apart after wearing them for one month with absolutely no support from Chaco except to pay for not only the repair but the shipping. I will no longer be paying $100.00 plus for something that can potentially fall apart. They say they are guaranteed for life. No longer a customer although they were once my favourites.The thing that I like most about Chacos, though, is the simple design coupled with excellent foot support that makes them well-suited for all kinds of outdoor activity. I will say that the Vibram soles on my 2 pairs of Chacos have outstanding grip (particularly on my Outcrosses) and have shown excellent durability. You have to order the Custom sandals on their website to get the Vibram sole now.
