Today, it is a wildlife sanctuary and conservation zoo which shares the unique native Australian animals with both local and international visitors. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a heritage-listed zoological garden and one of the Gold Coast's most popular tourist destination! It's home to a host of indigenous animals, some of which undergo treatment at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. The sanctuary features live shows and offers close-up encounters with fascinating mammals and birds.
