Externally 360's and 390's are identical. If you have a 360 it's not the original (correct) carb. All 360's were 2bbl. Check the fourth character of your VIN, if it's a "Y" then your original engine was a 360. If the character is "M" then you have a 390 4bbl and that would be the correct carb for the engine (with a manual transmission). These intakes are identified this way because aside from there casting number they have a large "S" or "T" cast on them. ex: casting # D4TE 9425 with a big "T" next to it.
