I've been having issues with docking my Gheenoe, it seems no matter what I end up getting a lot of dock rash, and just in general don't feel comfortable leaving my boat roped while grabbing the trailer.PVC push pole holders are common on Gheenoe's. Just finished the build of the very first stick steered "Raptor" model of the Gheenoe Lt 25. They already have them with raised center consoule and I thought that one in stick steer would be cool. I had to make a few modifications to get everything to work and it is not completely finished.The gheenoe is a glorified flatback canoe IMO. The only reason it feels somewhat stable is the design forces you to stand toward the centerline. If you stand only in the middle of the above mentioned skiffs they are as or more stable. Gheenoes had their day, but there are simply to many better options in modern times.My buddy picked this boat up and we fished it last week. I thought they were goofy and why would anyone get one of these flat back canoes. Boy was I wrong, thing is honestly really bad to bone.
