Honda fourtrax 300 no spark problem
I have a 300 4x4 that had a busted case(oil drain hole) I disassembled the engine, had the case welded, re assembled engine and installed on the bike. I have no spark when cranking the engine over. The fuses are good, all lights work including neutral, reverse,and oil temp.Honda Foreman 400 No Spark / Intermittent Spark Issue. As I write this, the issue is solved but I used this forum and others along with a shop manual to repair my 1998 Honda Foreman 400 TRX400. In all my research I didn't see many definitive solutions so I figured I'd post this in hopes that someone else would find it helpful in the future ...

I have 98 honda fourtrax 300 with no spark coil checked out good all wires are tight an clean so i am asumin its the cdi box does anybody know between wat ohms it is suposed to read ? I hate to spend alot of money on cdi box wen thats not the problem. Like.If it has no spark all I need to do is turn the key on & off or the kill switch on & off to get spark back. Don't use a lot here or very often because the fluid washes away the oil film on the cylinder. If it does not start, you have a compression or timing problem most likely. Rick.
