I have a JD 757 with the Kawasaki FH721d-as04 engine. the mower needs an engine. due to a seized bearing. jd dealer says that they dont sell just the bearing and to fix it without replacing the engine is around $ 1900.00 bucks. John Deere wants 2900 for an engine and I need to save dinero.One option that they gave me was to press the valve guide back down and reassemble with new parts. These were the options they gave me: 1. Use old head with new parts $200ish. 2. Use new head with new parts $300ish. 3.
