This 39A Mountie is in fair condition with a 20.5 inch micro groove barrel with an excellent bore. It also features ready to use sling swivels and a "JM " stamp on the barrel showing it was manufactured by the original Marlin team.I have an affinity for Marlin .22 leverguns and own the following in that caliber. Two 39A's pre-safety models Three 1870-1970 Century Limited's One 39M One 1897 Cowboy One 1897T One 39 TDS On this recent 39A I plan on installing a vintage all steel receiver sight, probably a Redfield #75 and base, or a Lyman.
