Im struggling here. I have had at least 10 cats pull out of my duke number 3 coilsprings this year. Im considering up grading traps next year with the Mb 550's i notice there is no adjustment for the pan on them but they come about 2 lbs with a 2 coil trap verse 4 coil at 4.5 pounds.How can it not lag behind, it has less spring pressure. Seems like I need to do some testing. May just have to video it. The way I figure it I will be able to show that one lever will reach the top first and the foot of the animal will act like a pivot making the slower lever lock up lower leaving that side of the trap open wider.
