All purpose early, IMO, leopard is the best. Dog/wolf is great for tripping and getting AOOs from your high damagers. You can actually make a very solid melee Sorcerer with the Abyssal Bloodline who would be a very good summomer, however. Might need to go Eldritch Knight for extra BAB, but it'll work fine if you focus on getting natural attacks.
