My PIP (Picture in Picture) was working fine until the switch over to digital, now since the switch it I only get a couple of channels in PIP and one of the channels has a message saying "if I am receivieing this message I need a digital decoder" or something to that ef...Re: Sound out of sync with Picture. If possible use another box to prove it is the box. also make sure the box is well ventilated, nothing on top.

We've had FIOS for years, and suddenly this week the VOD is having a problem. The shows play, but the picture is choppy (almost pixellated), and sound goes in and out. Hi to all. I'm getting very frustrated with this. I had FIOS installed on December 16. Right after the tech left who installed it, the picture on the mini box froze. I put a call in for service and the parade of techs started arriving. Each one seemed to know what they were doing however nobody fixe...The Stream (V2) boxes have very minimal settings that can be accessed, none of which involve changing the picture quality. I realize this is a new way for Fios to deliver TV programming, but someone needs to know about the 720p issue. Hopefully it will only require a software update. For those that are wondering, I have Fios GB internet.I got home today, turned on the TV, and immediately noticed that the picture appeared zoomed in. I have a Samsung 6500 series LED tv, use HDMI , and have never had any issues with Fios. My SD channels all had a minimized screen and appeared cropped. My HD channels were full screen but appeared cropped as well.The new Fios One, aka 4100 boxes do have better picture quality than the old boxes like yours and the 1100 series. There is a lot more enhancement processing in the new boxes, and it shows. If you have a 4K capable TV you can watch some sports on two 4K channels from the box.Sports are hit or miss. Either they look fine or are extremely poor quality. Channels like ABC and FX are just unwatchable, like extremely blurry picture quality. I'm guessing some channels are broadcasting in 720p still and when my tv is trying to upscale it, it just can't. Seems like probably 1080p programing is coming through okay.
