The Mupen64-Plus core in Retroarch is the best currently. If you need speed you can use the GLideN64 plugin but if you want more accuracy you can use the AngryLion plugin, both plugins are options in the core options menu for it making it easy to switch back and forth. I use the mupen64_plus_next core.N64: Mupen64plus (really needs the vulkan backend to work well) Dreamcast: Flycast (I don't use the following but if you're on xbox and don't have ways to access the standalone emulators, the retroarch cores of PCSX2, Dolphin, desmume and PPSSPP aren't bad)…

paraLLEl n64 core for switch? I have found a build of the paralleln64 core for the switch however when I load the core it boots into a weird menu and locks up the system.
