I tuned a 2000 Silverado with the BTR Stage 4 NSR cam yesterday. It had a 5.3L, and a stock torque converter. It's sluggish down low and just not a good choice unless you're going to install a high stall converter. AS stated above, the BTR Stage 2 is a much better choice for that application.New to tuning finely got it to start and hold an idle without having to peddle it.
